The Black Horse Inn has been a village pub for over 250 years old, situated on the A159 in the village of Blyton, around four miles from Gainsborough and some ten miles from Scunthorpe. In the last two years, it has been given new lease of life with a major building project, where great care has been taken to revitalise the Inn to a traditional public house. This has helped to cement its reputation as a popular place in the community with a well stocked bar and a good selection of award winning cask ales available. Background music plays during the day while the mood in the evening depends on the day of the week. Brands on offer are John Smith’s Bitter, a selection of three Real Ales, Carling, Fosters, San Miguel, Strongbow, Stowford Press, Old Rosie, Bank's Mild and Guinness. Outside, there is a Beer Garden and Patio Areas which are lovely sun traps during the summer months.
